2014 World Cup was a blast, it brought so many great moments that the world watched. It blown the roof top with great matches, everyone at stadium and home from all around the world watch their favorite team rise and fall. Everyone was busy watching the World Cup leaving all the things behind. It was the world’s biggest sporting event which the people witness the success of Germany against Argentina. 
2014 was the best year for Football; many rivals come across face to face with each other at different venues of Brazil. Each group go through different knock-out matches to reach the final. Iran had a great luck this year by qualifying for the World Cup match and going against the team of Argentina and Nigeria. Different Teams had different sides of stories at the World Cup. USA didn’t get the spotlight this year but Netherland however, did reach the semi final this year and also won the Third Place match.
Brazil however, the host of the country had to go through a huge humiliation in their home country. An unbelievable defeat at the hands of Germany at score of 1-7...Ouch. After defeating Columbia, there were hopes for Brazil but it turns the heart to sink because the injury of Neymar Jr. had put Brazil into a deep pressure during Semi Final. David Luiz, Defender for Brazil and PSG had a hard time controlling it’s team without Thiago Silva. It is considered as a historical defeat, even at the Third Place, Brazil yet again faced the music against Netherland. Many believe that Scholari is the reason Brazil had to go through a heavy defeat due to poor formations and coaching. After WorldCup, Scholari had to resign from its post of coach for Brazil National Team. Hope Brazil may do better than this in World Cup 2018.
Argentina had a close call but only close enough when Mario Gotze manages to hit the first goal for his team. Old rivals came face to face and had a great match that every viewer watched. Argentina was giving everything they got to win the battle but at the second half there were some team changes during the game which created it a little bit of stress for Argentina, somehow Germany manage to hit the first score and keep that intact till the end of the game. Regardless of how Germany successfully pull of the victory, they truly deserved it and everyone was on their feet the winning team.
Bottom line, this we got to see so many things we didn’t expect. Indeed no matter what controversy we saw, (Don’t want to mention the biting part) but still everything was great though. The commentating had a huge impact on the game which made it even more interesting to watch. 2018 qualifying will begin really soon and expect that every team will be in shape till 2018. Russia will be doing the hosting for World Cup, let see what the losing team will do.
